May 11-24
In this two-week period, the ambulance responded to 15 calls for medical assistance, to Swarthmore, Rutledge, Morton, Springfield, Nether Providence Township, and Ridley Township. The calls were for a variety of emergencies, including respiratory difficulty, cardiac emergency, a pediatric emergency, overdose, head injury, an unconscious person, and a psychiatric emergency.
In addition, the fire company responded to:
One automatic alarm.
Two building alarms, including one to 500 College Ave., Swarthmore, for a reported basement fire.
Four hazmat alarms.
One elevator alarm for a person stuck in an elevator at 130 S. State Road, Springfield.
7 mutual aid calls to Morton-Rutledge, Nether Providence Township, and Springfield Township.
