May 4, 12:52 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to N. Chester Road at the intersection of Ogden Avenue for an accident that just occurred. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that both cars were traveling north on N. Chester Rd. One car stopped for traffic as a result of the red signal. The driver of the car following behind advised they were approaching the stopped traffic, but did not stop in enough time, striking the rear bumper of the stopped car. No injuries occurred as a result of the crash, and both vehicles sustained minor damage, and were driven from the scene.
May 4, 5:50 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Cedar Lane and Magill Road for a motor vehicle crash that just occurred, with one vehicle leaving the scene. Officers conducted a follow up investigation, and were able to make contact with the initial striking vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, and no injuries occurred as a result.
May 6, 9:40 p.m.: Officers responded to the front of Borough Hall on Park Avenue for a minor vehicle crash. After an investigation, it was determined that a car towing a trailer was driving west on Park Avenue, passing the Borough Hall. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, and no injuries occurred as a result of the crash.
May 7, 10:58 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the area of Baltimore Pike and Cedar Lane for a motor vehicle crash, with a reported injury. As officers arrived and began the investigation, one driver complained of pain and was transported to Springfield Hospital for follow up care. At the conclusion of the investigation, it was determined that a vehicle was stopped in the left hand turn lane on Baltimore Pike at Cedar Lane, for a solid red signal. The striking vehicle was traveling east on Baltimore Pike, and changed lanes into the left turn lane. The striking vehicle failed to stop in time before rear ending the stopped vehicle in front of it. Neither vehicle required towing as a result of the collision.
May 8, 3:00 p.m.: Officers responded to the 500 block of N. Chester Road for a minor crash that had occurred. It was determined that the striking vehicle had been parked, and while leaving the residence, backed into a parked car behind it.
