The recent article about home (“Humans of Swarthmore,” October 16) triggered some home base and home space memories for me.
Appreciating our local paper
Since I have been spending more time at home (partly in response to the current viral outbreak), and since I have greatly enjoyed the new features and in-depth reporting introduced by the Swarthmorean, I am writing to thank “the powers that be” for their commitment to Swarthmore.
I watched Robert Mueller answer questions about the Mueller report on TV last Wednesday: not fun, not comfortable, not entertaining. I almost shut it off a few times; that’s when my inner voice kicked in with “If he can sit there, after two long years and take it, so can I.”
