I see opportunities...

I see opportunities...

To the Swarthmorean,

It’s an exciting time to be a Swarthmore resident and it is an honor to be on the ballot next Tuesday, November 2, for Swarthmore Borough Council.

I’m passionate about making government work for people. I have spent my career working with municipal, county, and state governments on issues ranging from major infrastructure projects to advising municipal governments on how to best navigate complex issues at the state level. Currently, I serve as a liaison between the public and private sector on behalf of an engineering firm headquartered in the midwest.

I grew up in the midwest, but my family is not new to Delaware County.  My husband is in his 20th year of teaching at Ridley High School. Like many of the parents we’ve met on the playgrounds and at the swim club, my husband and I feel extremely fortunate to raise our daughter in this wonderful community.

People don’t just end up in Swarthmore, people choose Swarthmore. We choose Swarthmore because it’s a beautiful and safe community with access to public transportation, a walkable downtown, and award winning schools. I see opportunities to improve and build upon what makes Swarthmore special. As we begin to work our way out of this global pandemic, I’d like to focus on creating more opportunities to bring our community together.

I feel fortunate to be running with a stellar group of municipal, county, and judicial candidates. I humbly ask for your support and for your support of the entire Democratic ticket.
