To the Editor:

Thanks to the community for a very successful Spring Book and Bake Sale the first weekend of May. We raised $10,302 for our beloved library, and we got to reconnect with community members over informal book discussions and bites of home-baked treats.

Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who made the sale happen, and made it successful — the donors, the book sorters, the bakers, the clerks, the set-up and break-down crews, the buyers, the Swarthmorean … it was a group effort and it all came together because of all of you.

We will begin accepting book and AV donations for the November sale on June 1 (at the library).
