What Do You Think of Singer Hall?

What Do You Think of Singer Hall?

The aesthetics of Swarthmore College’s Singer Hall — which will eventually be the home of the psychology, biology, and engineering departments — have been controversial since ground was broken in 2018. Some people think the building’s great, while others have declared it a monstrosity, or worse. Surprisingly few are lukewarm.

The building won’t be complete till later this year. Still, the Swarthmorean is interested in your opinion. But only if you’ve actually laid eyes on Singer. To get there, just make your way to Elm Avenue and take a stroll into the campus on Whittier Place. You can’t miss it.

One you’ve gotten a look, please take our Singer Hall survey.

While you’re out looking at Singer Hall, take a selfie with the building in the background. Send your photo to us at editor@swarthmorean.com, or post it to our Facebook page. We’ll print some in the paper and post some online.

Ben Yagoda is the Swarthmorean’s survey editor.
