A strong storm ripped a large branch from a tree onto a car driving on N. Chester Road between Elm and Ogden avenues. The driver escaped uninjured through the window. The car’s windshield, roof, and side mirrors were slightly damaged. Once the branch was disentangled from dangling electric wires, the car was towed from the scene.

A resident complained that their car, parked in the unit block of S. Chester Road, had been hit overnight. The front quarter panel was damaged, but the car could still be driven. The driver who did the damage left a phone number, but the owner of the damaged car had trouble reaching them. Eventually, however, the two parties connected.
