Elizabeth “Libby” Nicholson Garrett Hayes (nee Garrett), age 95, died peacefully in her bed at Morningside House, Parkville, Maryland, on November 30, 2019. Libby has joined her loving husband of 73 years, James Stoddard Hayes; who predeceased her by five months. She is survived by her three children, James Stoddard Hayes, Jr., Katharine Hayes Armitage, and Curtis Woods Hayes; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
