Tate F. Roderick

Tate Francis Roderick, 19, of Wallingford, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019.

Tate was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on October 22, 2000, and graduated from the Dr. Robert Ketterer Charter School in 2019. He loved music and animals, especially his dog Luvee and cat Johnny. Tate, who touched many lives, had a beautiful soul and a big heart. He will be dearly missed.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers Francis Smith and Arthur Roderick, and his uncle Mark Roderick.

Tate is survived by his loving parents Luke Tate and Robyn (Smith) Roderick; his grandmothers Doris Houpt and Trudi Roderick; his aunts Kim Tien, Dawn Smith, and Lois Roderick; his uncles Doug Smith, Greg Smith, Skip Roderick, and Brian Kelly; his aunt and godmother Gail Kelly; and many cousins, especially Mattao Bertino.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 12, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Route 352) and Knowlton roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home; interment is at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
