To the Community,

I need to impress upon people that it is vitally important that we all continue to do our part to see our way through the crisis situation caused by the spread of COVID-19. The governor has issued specific messages urging everyone to respect physical distancing and wear face masks whenever out in public. While many are obviously taking this message seriously, we are still seeing people congregating in groups and not wearing masks, even when they are in close proximity to others. As more time goes on and as the days continue to get warmer, it is easy to take a more relaxed attitude. This is exactly the behavior that could lead to a surge in virus cases. We have still not seen the peak in cases so it is critical that we stay vigilant.
