To the Editor:
I want to give a huge shout-out to the Co-op employees who rallied to help me on August 21, when I tripped and fell on the outside steps and badly twisted my foot. After a passerby alerted them, several rushed out. One identified himself as an EMT and examined my foot. Others brought a bag of ice and a towel. All remained until they were sure I could be on my way with my husband’s help.
Thanks to you all, and to the woman who let them know of the accident. I escaped with bad bruises, a chipped bone in my foot, and gratitude to all who rushed to my side.
