In Nether Providence Twp. at West Brookhaven Rd. and Putnam Blvd., a two vehicle accident with rollover and injuries.

Firefighters responded to an alarm on the 400 block of Wallingford Ave. on Sunday, Sept 8., at 11:57 a.m. for an oven fire with possible extension into the wall. Apparatus from Garden City, Swarthmore and Media responded to the incident. The fire was limited to an electrical enclosure without spread to the rest of the dwelling. Fire extension into a wall or fire in a wall cavity has the potential to spread almost unchecked through the building and is often difficult to completely locate and extinguish. Photo by Rich Cresson.
