For over 40 years this local church fair—traditionally held the first Saturday in October—has been a gathering place for the community. This year the fair will adapt to the moment by being held outdoors, in the large parking lot behind the church. People will still be able to sample aromas and flavors — either via controlled in-person shopping or curbside pickup — and catch up with friends and neighbors.
Swarthmore Presbyterian Church (SPC) hosts its 41st annual Fall Fair on Saturday, October 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Celebrating fall with Swarthmore and the broader community since 1978, the event has become known for its bonanza bargains on everything from antiques and jewelry, to flea market treasures, handbags, toys and sports equipment, pumpkins and mums, furniture and a wide selection of books.
Saturday, October 5, is the date of the much anticipated Swarthmore Presbyterian Church Fall Fair. Come find treasures of all sorts including housewares, books, linens and collectibles and antiques. The array of food is eclectic and delicious.
