Human Relations Commission Seeks Intern

The Swarthmore Human Relations Commission has a new internship opportunity. The intern will work alongside them as they seek to foster a community where all are empowered to stand up to hate and discrimination. Their mission is to raise awareness and inclusivity in our community through education and community engagement. 

This unpaid internship will offer a high school or college student a chance to bring their passion for community service to the commission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn from the commission members about community engagement through project-based work.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of basic graphic design tools and an interest in helping create flyers and other communications. In addition, the intern will update their website, maintain their social media presence, and work with them to research various community-based initiatives. The role will require effective communication and time-management skills, as well as the ability to do independent research and to provide progress updates to the commission.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a high school or college student who is looking to share their own ideas and help the commission grow.
