Kearney and Williams Host Racial Equity Conversation
State Senators Tim Kearney and Anthony Williams will co-host an online community discussion on racial equity on Tuesday, July 28, at 4 p.m. The event is part of a virtual statewide Racial Equity Tour, organized by Pennsylvania senate Democrats, seeking to end systemic racism and reimagine public safety.
Kearney and Williams will be joined by a panel of criminal justice experts and racial justice advocates, including Keith Reeves, a Swarthmore resident and Swarthmore College political science professor; Jonathan Feinberg, a Swarthmore resident and civil rights lawyer; blogger and Swarthmorean contributor Stefan Roots; and Hans Menos, executive director of the Philadelphia Police Advisory Commission.
