COVID-19 may have put a stop to live musical performances, but new music is still available. Local duo Last Chance — Swarthmore’s Ingrid Rosenback and Wallingford’s Jack Scott — released their fourth CD on July 1. “Summer Again” boasts 16 original songs by Scott.

“We’re very proud of this recording,” Rosenback says. “We were close to completing the studio work when everything shut down. When we were finally able to return and complete it, we worked hard and met our self-imposed July deadline.”

Scott adds that the songs “tell stories inspired by a Revolutionary War outlaw, a Louisiana oil spill, the Texas sky, and everything in between.”

The duo plays all the instruments on the album. Rosenback contributes fiddle and harmonica in addition to vocals, and Scott plays banjo and guitar, as well as singing.

With no live performances possible, they’re postponing their CD release party for now. But you can listen, download, or stream, or purchase your own CD.
