Caregiving for a loved one or friend is serious business with serious responsibilities, but often a dearth of resources for the caregiver. Schoolhouse Center in Folsom is remedying that with a series of presentations beginning Thursday, April 4, and running alternate weeks until June 13.
Topics in the series include age related issues, future planning, developing support systems, memory loss, elder abuse, and relaxation techniques. This course is open to all at no charge, but space is limited, and you must register at 610-237-8100, or call program coordinator Debbie Templeton at 484-540-0372.
You are welcome to bring the family member or friend you care for. Schoolhouse Center is located at 600 Swarthmore Avenue.
