The Players Club of Swarthmore continues its mainstage season with a new production of Agatha Christie’s whodunit The Hollow, opening Friday, October 18 and running through November 2 at its playhouse at 614 Fairview Road in Swarthmore.

A weekend in the English countryside goes fatally awry in this spellbinder by the master of mystery drama. Sir Henry Angkatell (played by Ted Harting of Wilmington) and his wife Lady Angkatell (Susan Bolt, Lansdowne) are hosting a group of family and friends at their country manor. The festive weekend comes to a screeching halt when one of the guests is murdered. Everyone has both opportunity and motive. It is up to Inspector Colquhoun C.I.D. (Vinny Ali, Springfield) and his assistant Detective Sergeant Penny (Stephen McAlee, Media) to unravel the mystery.

Additional cast members in The Hollow include Kristy Boyer Chen of Wallingford; Madalyn DeFelice, Ardmore; Tony Oriente, Chester; Ryan Mattox, Lansdowne; Eve Taylor, Media; Brenna McBride, Bryn Mawr; Jim Ludovici, Media; and Michele Quinn Nardi, Landenberg.

Show time on Fridays and Saturdays is at 8 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m.; Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Buy tickets at the door or online at www.pcstheater.org, where you can also learn about the Players Club of Swarthmore, upcoming events, shows, and directions.
